Arnold Chan is a career management expert in private practice. He helps individuals find success and personal enrichment in their respective fields and works with corporations to maximize the potential of valuable employees.
Arnold holds an MBA from UniSA and a BBA with Distinction from RMIT. He is a fully certified strengths coach by Gallup (USA), Coaching Skills for Empowered Workforce by DDI (USA) and a trained coach of Centre for Creative Leadership (CCL). He is qualified to administer a battery of assessments, including the Strengths Finder.
With over 25 years of organization and business excellence critical experiences while working in global organisations with a strong Pan Asian presence. He has lead several strategic initiatives ranging from business process improvements, talent management enhancements to merger & acquisition integrations in this region. His career path has included management roles such as executive coach, talent developer, global leadership trainer, HR relationship manager, learning & development specialist, aerospace engineer, quality assurance project leader and sales account manager.

He is the founder of Grow Talent Pte Ltd, which is focused on productivity, action management and executive coaching. His “growing smart people today for tomorrow” method is part of his coaching efforts. With a strong passion for knowledge sharing, he has been invited to present papers for Asia Business Forum, World Business Research and the Asia Productivity Organisation among others. He has written several papers on the practices of Talent Management, Learning Organisations and Managing Knowledge Workers that are published in the APO Journals.
Arnold has advised and guided leaders & high potentials from Aberdeen Asset Management, Ansaldo STS, DBS Group, Givaudan, Menard-Asia, Motorola, Siemens, Pulse Electronics, Societe Generale, Soletanche Bachy Group, Standard Chartered Bank, ST Engineering and Fuji Xerox. His coaching practices cover developmental, situational, remedial, experiential scenarios and as a talent retention strategy.
With over 20 years of coaching / facilitating capabilities behind him, Arnold has a passion to incite lively discussions in the learning space. His sessions are punctuated with vivid practical examples and anecdotes. Feedback from clients are centered around his delivery style which puts candidate at ease from the very beginning and is highly stimulating.
At the national level, Arnold is an appointed judge and assessor for various awards. These include the Business Excellence Award, People Developer Standard and Singapore HR Award. In this capacity he advise, develop and assess senior leaders from both MNCs and local companies in their business and leadership practices leading to these accolades.
His management exposures spans across industries. From the public to the private sector and from global financial institutions to multinational corporations. Besides Singapore, he has developed executives in Australia, Bahrain, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia and USA.
Arnold was instrumental in preparing Standard Chartered Bank to win the premier Asian Human Capital Award in Talent Management and Retention. For his outstanding contribution to strategic human capital development, Arnold became the first non – sales leader to receive the prestigious Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific President’s Award. Arnold also received special commendations from CEO of Standard Chartered Bank and CEO of Human Capital Singapore for the development of a suite of Talent Management Products recognized as qualification standards at the national level.
